Cumbum lake is located at 15.5669°N 79.1167°E having an average elevation of 184 metres (606 ft).

This Lake have direct irrigation land is about 10,300 acres (42 sq. km) in all.

The lake is about 7 km long and about 3.5 km wide.

3: Pulicat Lake – 2nd largest water lagoon popular in India
