What is a National Park?

Friends before going forward and knowing how many National Parks are there in India lets know first what is a National Park?

So, according to the Indian Ministry of Environment and Forest and Wildlife Institue of India, Dehradun a National Park is a protected area may be or not in the sanctuary is protected to protect and propagate the wildlife based on the ecological, faunal, floral, geomorphological or zoological association or importance. This area is defined as the National park by the State Government.

The most important thing about the National Park is no human activity is permitted without the permission of Chief Wildlife Warden of the State.
